"NJWeedman," a marijuana activist from New Jersey, is accused of hitting a man in Florida with a fire extinguisher
A New Jersey marijuana activist and restaurateur known as "NJWeedman" has been accused of attacking a man with a fire extinguisher during a dispute at a Florida condo building. Edward Forchion, also known as "NJWeedman," is accused of using the fire extinguisher to attack another man at the Brickell House Condominium in Miami, Florida.
Police say Forchion allegedly assaulted the victim after the two men got into an argument over a parking spot. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Forchion has been charged with aggravated battery and is currently Forchion has a long history as an advocate for the legalization of marijuana, and he has been involved in several legal battles over the issue.
In addition to his work as an activist, Forchion is also the owner of a marijuana-themed restaurant in New Jersey called the "NJWeedman's Joint." It's unclear what motivated the alleged attack at the condo building in Florida.
However, Forchion's lawyer has argued that he was acting in self-defense, and that he was not the aggressor in the situation.
While Forchion's attorney argues that he acted in self-defense, the prosecutor in the case has a different view. The prosecutor has alleged that Forchion is a dangerous individual who has been involved in several violent incidents. Forchion has denied these allegations and maintains that he is innocent of the charges. Regardless of the outcome of the case, it highlights the ongoing debate over the legalization of marijuana in the United States.
