Anna Sorokin fake and pretended to be a wealthy German heiress


 Anna Sorokin, also known as Anna Delvey. Sorokin was a Russian-born woman who came to New York City and pretended to be a wealthy German heiress. She managed to con numerous people out of money, including banks, hotels, and her friends. She would order expensive meals and then "forget" her wallet, or she would offer to pay for things with a check that would later bounce. Eventually, her lies caught up to her and she was arrested and sentenced to prison. 


After being released from prison, Sorokin was deported to Germany, but she eventually made her way back to the United States. Once here, she was detained by immigration authorities. During her time in detention, she created an art collection called "Allegedly" which consisted of drawings and NFTs. The collection was meant to be a commentary on her time in prison and the media's portrayal of her story. It's an interesting look at the way that someone can become a celebrity, even if it's for all the wrong reasons. 


One of the most interesting things about Sorokin's story is how she used social media to create a persona for herself. She cultivated a glamorous image on Instagram, which helped her to gain access to exclusive events and meet powerful people. In a way, she was a social media influencer before that term was even coined. She was able to create a persona that was larger than life, and people wanted to be a part of her world. 


Some experts believe that social media platforms like Instagram are actually contributing to an increase in mental health issues like anxiety and depression. This is because we're constantly comparing ourselves to others and seeing images of people who seem to have it all. And this can make us feel like we're not good enough, that we don't measure up. Charla Nash was severely mauled by her friend's pet

 In 2009, a woman named Charla Nash was severely mauled by her friend's pet chimpanzee named Travis. Travis had been raised like a human and could even perform basic tasks like using the toilet, making coffee, and riding in a car. However, on the day of the attack, something seemed to trigger the chimpanzee, and he viciously attacked Nash, biting her face, hands, and feet. Nash survived the attack, but she suffered severe injuries and had to undergo multiple surgeries. This case raised questions about the safety of keeping chimpanzees as pets and whether people truly understand the dangers of owning a wild animal.  In March of 2017, 14-year-old Bobby was reported missing from his home in Phoenix, Arizona. His mother, Sarah Linhart, told police that she had last seen him at their home the previous evening. She said that Bobby had taken a shower and gone to bed, and she assumed he was still in his room when she woke up the next morning. But when she went to check on him, he was nowhere to be found.  After Sarah reported Bobby missing, police searched the neighborhood and interviewed family and friends, but they found no sign of the boy.
